See something else.
We all know the iceberg theory. The fact that we look at others who are successful in their fields and don't see the Sisyphean hard work that people do to get there.
We adore the tip of the iceberg shown.
This time I want to write from the opposite direction.
Recently I met many people who reinforced my work and told me how much they admire what I do, and how happy they are to ‘to see and to learn from you’ and so on...
I looked at them surprised.
But I was constantly busy doing and moving forward. I thought to myself - really? How come they see me like this? And I feel I’m still in the making, at the bottom of the iceberg. Looking down at the things I do. What works and especially what doesn't.
I decided to raise my head. To read carefully the words that are sent to me, and internalize them to look at the other part of the iceberg... the one that is outside the water, at the tip, the part that people see from the outside. To look at the small and big successes.
If that's how you see me, it means it's true...
I invite you to stop for a moment and think a little differently. Such evidence will advance you towards your goals.
